I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for supporting us through another very challenging year. Despite everything that 2021 threw at us we continued to invest in our business.
The addition of our new butchery unit in the early summer has been a huge success and a massive asset to our company. It has allowed us the opportunity to meet customer demands by offering a more extensive range of high quality meat products. We pride ourselves in the quality and higher welfare of our meats. We have achieved this by working with some of the UK’s most respected farmers and meat suppliers many of whom are local! These strong relationships throughout the supply chain ensure that we have full traceability of our products right back to the source. This in turn has a substantial environmental impact and significantly reduces our carbon emissions.
2021 also saw the introduction of our new state of the art ordering app. This has been extremely well received by existing and new customers. It has allowed customers, who wish to use it access to our extensive range of products and pricing. It has kept us up-to-date with new digital ordering trends and requirements. In addition it has a positive environmental impact as it reduces paper.
We are continually challenging ourselves and strive to build our business with the environment, our communities and the local economy at heart. With the continued support of our amazing local customers we will endeavor to adapt, expand and look positively towards 2022.
